When you search a Perseus dictionary, you can type in just the initial letters of the entry (helpful if you are not sure about the ending). You can then choose the item from a table that displays all the entries that match your search criteria.

The dictionary lookup screen is the same for both the Greek and Latin dictionaries, so make sure you remember to indicate which one you are using. You can enter Beta Code in the box or click the "Enter Text in Greek" option to click on the Greek letters.
