DEVAKI. [Source: Dowson's Classical Dictionary of Hindu Mythology] Wife of Vasudeva, mother of Krishna and cousin of Kansa. She is sometimes called an incarnation of Aditi, and is said to have been born again as Prisni, the wife of King Sutapas.
