KAILASA. [Source: Dowson's Classical Dictionary of Hindu Mythology] A mountain in the Himalayas, north of the Manasa lake. Siva's paradise is said to be on Mount Kailasa, so also is Kuvera's abode. It is called also Ganaparvata and Rajatadri, 'silver mountain.'
