KAMPILYA. [Source: Dowson's Classical Dictionary of Hindu Mythology] The city of King Drupada in the country of the Panchalas, where the swayamyara of Draupadi was held. It corresponds with the Kampila of modern times, situated in the Doab on the old Ganges, between Badaun and Farrukhabad.
