Paripatra

PARIPATRA. [Source: Dowson's Classical Dictionary of Hindu Mythology] The northern part of the Vindhya range of mountains. According to the Harivansa, it was the scene of the combat between Krishna and Indra, and its heights sank down under the pressure of Krishna 's feet. Also called Pariyatra.
