Ramasetu

RAMASETU. [Source: Dowson's Classical Dictionary of Hindu Mythology] 'Rama's bridge,' constructed for him by his general, Nala, son of Viswakarma, at the time of his invasion of Ceylon.

This name is given to the line of rocks in the channel between the continent and Ceylon, called in maps " Adam's bridge."
