SOLUS ut esuriens molles depasceret herbas
Tempore cum longo prata teneret Equus:
Cervus ad hunc tandem consumens pabula venit
Hoc Equus ulcisci, quem movet ira, cupit.
Accedens hominem num quaerit adesse volenti
Ille sibi Cervum vi prohibente [(printer); sic: prohibere] velit?
Qui respondet opem potero tibi ferre roganti,
Te mihi frenari si patieris ait.
