Composition

This week you will be doing a "Build-A-Sentence" type of composition. For each sentence, you will have a list of words and you need to figure out how to put those words together into a sentence:

• you will use every word listed, and you will not add any words - but you will have to change the form of the words so that they fit into the sentence
• decide on the subject, and make sure the form of the verb matches the subject (do not change the tense or voice of the verb - just change the person and number to fit the subject)
• make sure all the nouns and pronouns are in the correct case based on their role in the sentence (do not change the number of the nouns and pronouns - just change the case)
• if there is a preposition, make sure you are using the appropriate case for that preposition
• choose a word order that sounds good to you based on the meaning you want to emphasize in the sentence

When you are done, attach the file to an email and send it to the instructor. Give your email a subject line like "Week 8 Greek Composition." (The Composition Key will be made available when the assignment is completed.)
