Listening

Each week you are required to listen to the audio recitation of three different students in the class. Below you will find a list of assigned students you should TRY to reply to this week. Depending on when each person turns in their assignment, you may need to wait until after the Thursday deadline before you can do the Gradebook Declaration for this item. The Audio Gallery will be updated as people turn in their assignments, but people often do their assignments very near the due date. As a result, some of the audio selections for the week will not be available until Friday morning at 8 a.m.

So, please make sure you wait until Friday morning to find out if the person you are assigned to has done the assignment or not. If your assigned person still does not have audio available for you on Friday, you can choose someone else in their place.

You will leave your comments for that student inside the Discussion Forum labeled "Comments about Recitations", where each student has their own folder. Please make sure the Subject Line of your comment refers to the Biblical book, chapter and verse, so the person will know exactly which audio recitation you are talking about. Each comment should be at least 100 words long. Here are some questions to prompt you if you are not sure what to write about:

• how did the audio sound? what impression did it make on you?
• did you recognize any of the Greek words?
• is this a passage in the Bible that you are familiar with? what do you think about the passage? (you might also want to take a look at the context of the passage if you are not familiar with it; here is easy access to a King James translation of the Bible online)
